Video Contest Rules Thanks for your interest in the Park Seed/Wayside Gardens Flower Day video contest. Here’s a quick summary of the rules, followed by the complete, official rules. We look forward to seeing you on Flower Day and to receiving your submissions.
Official Rules
Promotion is governed by the laws of the United States, with venue in Greenwood County, South Carolina, and all claims must be resolved in the United States. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
1. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal U.S. residents. Employees of Park Seed Company/Wayside Gardens/Jackson & Perkins and their immediate family and household members are not eligible. Video must contain primarily footage shot in the gardens surrounding the national headquarters of the Geo. W. Park Seed Company in Greenwood, SC. Copyrighted elements cannot be used (e.g., music, still photos). All rights must belong to the individual submitting the video.
2. HOW TO ENTER: Send your video on a CD or DVD to PARK SEED VIDEO CONTEST, 1 Parkton Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29647. Be sure your name, email address, telephone number, and video title(s) and category(s) are written on the disc. Alternatively, provide the same information via email, with an attached video file in QuickTime or mpg4 format. Email subject line must contain the word VIDEO followed by the category, and the body of the email must contain your name and telephone number. Send the email to

. Only two entries per category, per person, are permitted.
3. ENTRY DEADLINE: Entries must be emailed before midnight, July 15, 2008. 4. PRIZE: Five prizes will be awarded: one $250 gift certificate from Wayside Gardens for each category—Best Flower Day Overview, Most Creative, Funniest, Best Use of Flowers, Best Use of Vegetables. 5. GENERAL: By entering, participants also agree: (a) to be bound by the Official Rules; (b) that the decision of Park Seed Company is final on all matters relating to the promotion; and (c) to release Park Seed Company and its agents and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all liability, loss or damage arising out of participation in this promotion or with respect to awarding, receipt, possession use and/or misuse of any prize. Park Seed Company reserves the right to end the contest at its sole discretion. The names and videos of all winners may be used for publicity purposes and published on websites, blogs, and catalogs for Park Seed Company/Wayside Gardens/Jackson & Perkins. Winners must provide Park Seed Company with a copy of their raw footage for additional editing and use on the company’s websites and blogs. 6. DISPUTES: All issues and questions regarding the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of entrants in connection with the Contest shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard for conflicts of law doctrine, and all proceedings shall take place in that State, in the county of Greenwood.
